I have no idea why people would trench when they could plow. What a mess.
The company Mattracks makes a kit for the Maxi sneaker to make it like the Vermeer you pictured. I think it would be bad a$$
Whats a trencher ?
I use the second one for postal lots.

what he said. Takes longer to put back together then it takes to put in pipe , run lines and rake.
No pulling here, it's all heavy clay soil's and rock's. I've seen pipe pulled one time in 25 year's and i was fixing a leak on that pipe within 3 month's. When i dug that pipe up it was all grooved up, the result of pulling with unseen rock's in the ground.
If I had to trench , plumb , backfill , compact , rake and seed I would prolly still be swinging a hammer.
I looked into a plow to start with but honestly it was too much. I liked the idea of a plow and no one in my area has one, it would have been a good selling point I think. But it was not to be, so for now the trencher will due. I did however opt for a 4" chain so there would be less backfill. At any rate my new machine will be far superior to the rental options in my area....
