I am new to the business, and after reading about the quick 36 I had to get one. I ordered it and it got here today I ordered online 3 days ago. After finally getting it open I cut my lawn I am very impressed. It is much easier to maneuver than I expected. Anyone had any problems with theirs?

can you use a velkey with those things?

I got the impression with the last thread on the quick 36 that it was armstrong steering and so you had to walk behind.

They do have a sulky for it, and it is not too expensive. It is an armstrong mower, but not to the extent most think from trying it out. What I have read about the sulky you really just have to shift your hips to make it turn.

I have one also and love it. I've only put about 30 hours on it so far. The best thing about it is the cut quality. It offers a nicer cut than most mowers. However it's a BEAR to wrestle if you're side-mowing hills. It was 101 degrees yesterday and I talked a few yards and it wore my lil arse out!

Other than the hill issue....it's an awesome mower.

post #4 shows someone on one.... you'll have to ask James about the specifics but people are using them.

Does this machine have any type of brakes or whatever to turn it? I have a ferris that is the "armstrong" turning and I dont see how someone could cut a yard on a velke having to use your muscles to turn it...
