gould gt20 pump

    O by the way, he bought this on line. So I have no place to return to. Unless I send the whole pump back.

    One thing I always did with pumps was to remove and replace the bolts, with some anti-seize lubricant on the threads, like I saw tire shops using on high-end vehicles. I had too much grief on old outdoor pumps, when it came time to perform some service on them.

    Good idea, I have a lot of that, I use on all my mower blade bolts as well.

    If the pump came from a sprinkler distributor, they aren't likely to have the repair chops to deal with defects. I stopped buying pumps from sprinkler suppliers because of the lack of over-the-counter replacement warranty. (and besides, I like Goulds pumps)
