I have been using pedimethalin 3.3 EC mostly for the last few years, but I am now using Barricade 65wdg. My question is about Pre-emergent effectiveness. I apply with 30gpa of water. I have alway used liquid because it is cheaper, my Round one bermuda does not need any fertilization in February, and I often need to add in some broadleaf herbicide. None of my lawns are irrigated, so I do my best to work a couple of days before it rains. It usually rains often in the Spring here. Does anyone know of any studys that show how much effectiveness of pendimethalin or barricade is lost when it is not rained in within say 7 or more days. Do granular pre-emergents experience the same deterioration as liquids if they are not water in within 7 days?
