I do residential mowing. And i went to go do an estimate today and the customers grassed looked dead. Im new in this business and the customer asked what they should do to it before i start cutting. What should i recommend? And how long should i wait after a customers gets fertilization sprayed on to cut the grass.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

It depends on the grass, If it is something like Zoysia, it will still
be dormant. Here in PA the Zoysia lawns are brown as straw but
will green up in a couple of weeks where the temps go up. You
will need to determine what type of grass it is and then you can make a recommendation. It might be to wait a little bit or it could
be a dead lawn that needs rennovated. You want to try to wait
24 hrs. before mowing grass after it is ferted.
