what grass stripes the best?
not fescue, i would have to say kentucky blue grass or bramuda(sp?)
dunno but crabgrass sux the worst lol
I would dare say Zoysia likely does pretty good, but most all of mine are fescue...
With fescue it takes me two passes every time, and if it's never been striped, 3-4 visits before they're that nice 'black-and-white' as I like to call it. If I have the time, three passes improves things a little but the fourth pass is a waste of time.
High quality Bluegrass , the fescues and rye lay excellent stripes, and stripe without a tremendous amount of effort and without the need of a striping device or roller, if the mower set up properly.
