I have one, a 227-61" that I'm getting ready to trade in for a 300 series with more power... Mine is in pretty good shape, other than always needing a good cleaning, 700 hours (and counting), 2007 model.

Wondering what I could expect the trade value to be? I'd sell it on my own, but I know how that always goes. End up spending more on advertizing and the frustration of morons calling and still don't get it sold.

i would say that is fair. when we get are new 227 with 52 Inch deck and two mesh bags it cost's 10,200 out the door brand new at my dealer. soo this one has a biger deck than ours and not many hours at all. a little less than 4 weeks of use on it. Ooo and the reason for such small decks on our mowers is cuz we do about 90% lake home and small res.
