new to the business. What do you think of a grasshopper mid mount ?
I am thinking about a 23 hp 52". A good dealer a mile from the house.

I have never mowed with midmount, but i have a frontmount and love it. The 200 series is a good machine but i would probably jump up the the 300 series to get hydro coolers if you will be using it commercially. I also believe that you get wider tires and different intake/aircleaner on the 300s.

The duramax decks leave a really nice cut. I think you will be pleased with what ever you choose.

GH's are a little more expensive than other mowers...but IMO worth every penny!

none, I don't own one, but I have been itching to get one because of just the accessories alone.

Grasshoppers are great, but remember, if you go with a midmount you don't have the option for all the accessories! (Areator, Sheilded sprayer, blade, snow blower, power broom... and I think there's more) The midmounts are less $$$ that the same sized front mount too. Less parts and steel I guess. Front mounts are longer, so you have to keep that in mind for trailer space and you adverage lawn size.

Midmount Accessories: Shielded sprayer and edger.

Frontmount Accessories: Aera-vator, dethatcher, rotary broom, shielded sprayer, edger, turbine blower, dozer/snow blade, snowthrower and v-plow. Not to mention you can change to different size decks in less than 30 secs!

The deck also folds and is the same size as a midmount on the trailer.
