    I was checking out the grasshopper website and thought they had some pretty nice mowers. I have read alot of threads and haven't seen this brand mentioned once. are they junk?

    No they are a good unit we run a mid mount 220 and a front mount 725 they don't make walkbehinds this is odd we ran with scag this year.

    I know that they have improved greatly over the early 1990's models ( the axels would break, I saw all 4 replaced on the 2 we had at my old job.) they are great for leaves, but not the most cost effective for what you can get in a Toro or a Bobcat etc

    Search some more theres a lot of good info on hoppers.+ They make a great mower
