Gravely 36" Pro150

    I found a guy selling a Gravely 36" Pro150. He doesn't know the year, but guesses 8-10 years old. He's only owned it for two weeks. When he went to look at it, the seller was running it for him and ran over a cable of some sort and damaged a blade spindle. He lowered the price $200, and the guy bought it. The next day, he bought another one and decided not to fix/keep the Gravely, so he's selling it.

    It's got the Kawasaki FB460V engine, and he said it was recently rebuilt and runs with no smoke or leaking however the electric start doesn't work currently. It pull starts just fine. All that needs to be fixed is the spindle and then have the belts re-installed.

    He's asking $400/obo. Would this be a decent mower to pick up for personal use? Right now I have a 21" Troy Built and a Bolens 38" riding mower (that I don't use), and my back yard is pretty big. I could sell my Bolens to pay for this Gravely, if it's worth it.

    He bought it for $200.00 & didn't do anything to it, & now wants $400.00.
    Are you willing to give him a $200.00 dollar profit?

    No, he paid $400 for it also. Original seller was selling for $600.

    kawas are good engines..if the engine is been kept well maintained,id would be worth it
