I have to to 10 lawns a week but they are all in tight spots and most of them are about an acre. I figure it is 12 hours a week of running time. i was thinking about buying a new Gravely 1334 fx. does anyone know anything about this mower? thanks

I just bought one of these used. 2006 Gravely 1334FX, belt drive, 60 hours, KAW FH381 (13HP), for $1,100.

I'll be using it for my land only, a flat 3/4th acre, and can't wait to get to it. I cut commercially for a LCO about 15 years ago and am thrilled to finally have a commercial mower again after cutting with a 22" last season. :dizzy:

Did you make the purchase? Are you happy with it?

I have the 1336 Pro belt drive and it cuts very well also has plenty of power to pull me on my sulky very good cut also, I had bought the mulch kit and only used it for one week, the grass here is to wet and thick in the spring for mulching anyway good luck.

I got a Pro1336 and love it. Not the exact same mower but it is still a Gravely and a great mower.

I purchased a 1548 pro-g float in 2002 and it's worked flawlessly. Love their mowers. Should give you many years of service. I'm now selling it to make room for my bad boy :)

DJ Contracting, Thanks for the advice on the mulching kit. I was wondering if it'd be worthwhile.

Also, I'm digging around trying to find a service manual for the 13HP KAW engine on my 1334 WB. Any chance you've found one online?

Your welcome, yeah I have been thinking of putting the mulch kit up for sale on here for the southern guys to look at.

No I haven't looked for one sorry.
