My Kohler 28 efi with the Bosch system has never failed to crank in no more than two revolutions of the engine, normally cranks as soon as the key ignites power, almost instantaneously. Once it cranks no matter the temperature, it runs smooth as silk from lowest idle to full throttle. I can engage the blades at idle rpms, you would swear the engine was going to stall, but it doesn't.

There is no way the Delphi system could improve over my experience with the Bosch system, you cannot improve on perfection.

What I meant was I have had very good luck with Delphi products.

    PSC,
can you post some pics of your 60" deck, including the chute opening from a ground level view, and maybe the underside if it wouldn't be too much trouble to run it up on your ramp or whatever you use to change the blades etc? There's always subtle differences between deck sizes, so though I've seen the underside of the 52" deck I'd like to see a 60" deck too, because I am serious about going with a 460 in the future.

I'm thinking MT demoed a 460 at one time, ask him what he thinks about the mower.

Holy grass grabbing bolt heads Batman!!!

I like the build, but question all the distractions the grass will see under there!

    Thanks PSC.

I know that the high air flow keeps grass from snagging as bad as it looks like it could with all those heads and threads, but TLS brought up a good point. Does the grass build just enough to "smooth out" the surfaces and prevent further build up, or is grass collecting around that stuff an issue at all?

It's probably not an issue at all, but it's weird how some decks are really void of obstructions and others are littered with them.

I know from experience that the carriage bolt heads are not an issue, but the threaded bolts sticking down caught my eye.

My MOD deck is sorta littered looking along the front baffle, but surprisingly, it doesn't collect build up like I thought it would.
