How does the Cheetah ride? How does it cut at high speeds? I have the Tiger cat and pleased, but I would love a little smoother ride and faster mower in time. I mowed two properties owned by the same owner today side by side totaling 10 acres of wide open field....10mph with a 52'' deck seemed like I was crawling. Plus the imperfections or ruts threw me around a bit. Does the 8psi in the front tires do well or feel great?

Go figure....must have been a super z owner or hustler guy. How do you demo machines anyways?

13 still beats the turf tiger by 1mph and my tiger cat by 3mph ;). If you don't mind me asking, how much do the 400 series run? Can you get them in 52'' or at least under 54''?

GMLC has the 452, which is a 52" deck.

Ya know, my Deere is supposed to be a 12 mph machine, but I kinda have my doubts. It felt that way last year when I bought it after running a 10 MPH previously, but I had it in for some warranty work late last year, and ever since then it has felt slower. They say they didn't adjust anything, but I believe they did, and at Deere's behest. Why, I can't say, but it is definitely slower than it used to be.

I paid $10600 for my 452 with a bagger, fleet pricing(basically got the bagger for free). The last two digits of the 400 series is the deck size. 452, 460 and 472.

Thats strange!! You really think they did something to her? You can always grab your GPS to check the speed. Just dont tell puppy because its not accurate enough:)

Me too, but then I got sad again because I don't have a GPS. I guess I'm still in the dark ages.

Yea, I really do! I could tell the 950 was a bit faster than the 720 before it having gone right from one to the other, but after they did the warranty work (which had nothing to do with the drive system at all, it was to replace an armrest that had come apart at the seams- literallly), it has never felt the same, and it is easy to detect.

Never thought about that gmlc. I have a 3 year old Garmin needing updates still, but I just bough the Garmin app with free updates on my phone so that is a great idea I check ground speed. I will give it a try tomorrow.
