greasing/lubing trimmers/edgers

    Greased and lubed where the attachment comes off the end. Is that all that is necessary or do you have to pull the motor off the shaft to grease something.

    I believe you're referring to the gear box. If you greased it good, you should be good to go.

    How often you need to grease the string trimmer head and the cable drive? Do you use just the normal white grease?

    Keeping the lower gear case with lube is the most important. I take the flex shaft out yearly and lube it. You need to pull the housing off motor yearly to check clutches for wear...usually last one year with very heavy use on Echo. The exhaust ports should be cleaned yearly.
