    1) Stay away from focal point , too expensive, and crappy materials.

    2) Call peggy at PERFCO.

    3) you can REPRINT and duplicate the same product for far cheaper than buying it.

    4) We have a concept that people find amazing. We take a flier, full 4 color on heavy card stock paper, that we have printed in qty's of 100k, and put them in a 7" x 15" - 1 mil clear plastic bag, with 1/8 cup of play sand, and heat seal them. We produce (one man) about 2500 per day. One person can throw these in the driveway at the rate of 3000 per day in a 5 hour day. We have 2 people bagging and two throwing. We get out about 5000 to 6000 per day. Expecting a 1% return, we average between 50 to 70 calls per day, over time. Phenominally cheap to produce, and even cheaper to market.

Our costs, are : Bags 50,000 = 600.00 from MULTIPAK, Dacula Georgia, Sand = Truck load for nothing, FLIERS = 2800 for full four color both sides on 80 pound text, printed out of CANADA, ... We can print in canada for 60% less than any american company, the dollar vs. the canadien dollar is the reason.

You do realize, Scott - that reprinting a copyrighted product (and all of PERFCO's and Focal Point's material is copyrighted) can get someone into some considerable hot water should either of them decide to pursue a suit through the appropriate legal channels.

Lawnsite does not ever advocate any illegal activity, and reprinting copyrighted material would certainly qualify......

  5. I just got some door hanger bags from real green systems. Good price and service. They also sent a sample pack of their materials. Not too impressed with the postcards but most of their materials look pretty good.

I would certainly not insinuate reprinting a pre-designed product, I suggest designing your own, with unique characteristics, and information

funny you say focal point has less than stellar products, we find them to be some of the most appealing and affordable around.
maybe i could pick up more customers throwing sand filled plastic bags in their driveways, heck i could even start a new dba and charge to pick all of them up...

your smart ellick comments are not worthy of a response, but perhaps worthy of noting they are not worthy. I wish you all the best with your overpriced printing, and hope it serves you well. The educated and well rounded consumer can easily see the down side to costly expenses. Guess that's why they write about us in magazines, and Im not sure Ive seen you on the cover of Lawn and Landscape lately ?
