I have an old Green Machine trimmer. It is a little hard to start but once started runs fine and I have never been able to break it. It needs a new trimmer head(wore out). Will one of the Shindaiwa heads that are easy to load fit on this trimmer? If not is there any brand of trimmer heads that will work? Thanks in advance, David

Try mowmore.com. I believe the Veri products model VP33 should do it. (mow more part# 27-10231).I use these heads on my Husqvarnas and a green machineGT21.

At one time, Green Machine trimmers were made by RedMax. So, it is possible a RedMax head might fit it.

Thanks for the replies! I'll check both of those brands out for the head. David

At one time Green machine 25cc units were made by Shindaiwa. Most all the brands mentioned so far have a 25mm arbor ( 1") that will accept many different fixed line heads on the market.
