I was just wondering if anyone would want to share thier gross $ per hour and what they end up netting per hour at the end of the year.

I am just very part time in this so I am sure that my figures can't be trusted to carry over into a full time business.

I grossed about $44.00 per hour and netted about $33.40 per hour last year in my 1st year and like I said being part time.

How does that compare with all of you?

Of course I am also a solo op. which makes all the difference in the world also.

Also I was figuring that if I dropped my prices slightly that I could gross between $37.50 and $40 per hour and still possibly net $29.00 per hour at my current expenses.

Are you figuring in depreciation on your truck, trailer, and equipment?

Another good point. Insurance and lisences are figured in but not taxes. I didn't think of that because mine are still getting done and I will actually be showing a loss this year with my equipment purchases and such.
