I live in florida and my question is: When do you consider the beginning of growth season?
When the grass is growing
I have no Idea in FLA
But around MO we start mowing in March just before the grass starts to grow. we like to get the grass cut once before the grass grow to get the slow growing and dorment stuff mulched up
rule of thumb is April - Oct is Weekly Service ......while Nov - March is bi weekly .......about 40-42 visits a year ;_>
I have a buddy who mows in Fla. And he mowes like you said every other week in NOV-MAR
Just got off the phone with him to reply to you guys
i start in april thru 3 rd week of oct. for a total of 39 cuts
based on st. aug. less for bahia.
I agree with the above posts. I think I end up with an average of about 36 cuts. For me things really seem to get going about mid June, then non stop till around Oct. Winter is great.
come this time of year ......we dream of the "dormant" season ;-> .... St. Aug is kinda slowing down right now ...... well maybe just a little compared to July ..... is it boiling out or what !
