One of my clients had grubs all over thier driveway.. some alive and some dead. There are no symptoms in the lawn (yet).

I've seen worms on drives plenty of times but never grubs. What's going on?

Heard of this before when a friend of mine applied diazanon to his lawn.

That is very typical of the way Grubs die. They come to the surface looking to get away from the pesticide. They seem to like concrete as there final resting place. They curl in to a C shape and die. They then start turning black before they dry up.

A long shot, but maybe Dylox or similar product was applied to an adjacent property and heavy rain caused run-off to your clients property, or perhaps an application was erroneously
applied on your clients property that neither you nor they were aware of.

I had grubs on the surface after a rain last week there was 4 inches of rain I would say they where flooded and came to the surface.
