I have been lurking for a few months and i guess its time i introduce myself. My name is Dwight and i have been maintaining a few lawns for friends and family for a few years now. I have decided this year to get licensed and try to make it as a full time business. Im hoping to at least make enough to pay my rent starting out. I do have a positive attitude that im gonna make it come hell or high water.

Im sure some of you may disapprove but right now im just using your average everyday residential riding mower and weed eaters. I know this type of mower may not last me long but i do have 2 spare riders. I'm hoping i can make it till i can afford better equipment. Maybe i can come across a used Zero Turn by Mid Summer.

The point is your are working and trying to make it in trying times. More than we can say for everyone else collecting unemployment. When we started out we had one large property that took just too long with our 48. We used a riding lawn mower with a 42" deck to help us out.

Your equipment does not make you professional, the way you run it does.

    good luck this season:waving:
