After the rain (26 of the last 31 days) and cutting at 3.5-4.5" thinking I'll get back to them in 4-5 days just to have it rain 3 days and not get back to them for 9-12 days, I've decided to pull the pin on the height adjustment and just let 'er roll on the rollers.

Figure if this doesn't work, I'll take the rollers off next week and I'll be back to not having to worry about 12" grass anymore.

Same here man. Testing my tolerance this season. I dread the poor SOB that is the first one to call and complain this season. I'll probably make them cry before I'm done with them. So far, everyones been good. Now that I said that I'll get some schmuck calling me this week.

Had a prop. manager call me on Friday, as he was leaving his message, in the middle of the message "oh, I see you're here mowing, please ignore this message".

What a bunch of wimps.. 3 years ago it rained 277 days and that doesn't mean it was nice the other 88 days. more then 10 dry days in a line and it is a drought here.

    Just keep them blades sharp

Yah, I was in Alaska for my honeymoon. My wife and I were looking around wondering what it would take to run a lco up there, if there'd be any money in it.
