    Yes to me not a lot is sq ft price. Ppl ask for rough price I may throw out a high sq ft price. If interested I proceed to look at the job. Access is Hugh. Equipment access is even bigger. I price accordingly. Input cost. Hourly cost, production cost. Gotta no your numbers!

    the thing with retaining walls is this:

    If everything was peachy kean - then a retaining wall would not be needed.

    Since a wall is needed, then there's stuff going on, that's created the necessity.

    With that said. And with about 18 yrs of experience. It's nearly impossible to unit price a retaining wall. Building the wall is easy. Access and space for staging is what will drive the price.
