I was gonna say,...what were the circumstances. Believe it or not, in some area, I've heard that a permit IS required. Other than that, only if it was on private property (a parking lot, private subdivision, etc..)

Here in TX a permit is required. If caught without a permit you will be escorted out of the area and told not to come back.

keep handin' em out. Don't worry so much.

How do you think the crack heads make money washin' windsheilds.

You just have to keep advertising and key in on the bigger opportunities.

Once you start planting the word/ work spreads like wild fire.

If you only to plan to cut, I know a mexican guy (Naturalized for 2 months) that'll do it for 18.00. That's no life.

Many areas require a permit to hand out flyers or door hangers. It is usually at a minimum cost but allows the jurisdiction to get info on you to assure its citizens you are not a rip-off.
My wife issues those here and it is pretty painless to get one. Sure beats being escorted away by the blue uniforms. Call your City Hall for permission..not forgiveness.

We dont hand out flyers for just this reason. We believe that is unprofessional . I hate coming home to flyers on my mail box door hangers on my door, and litter blown all over the neighborhood. We use the yellow pages, local papers, and have our own bulk mail permit.
