Noticed on my last job Friday the handle on my Honda HRC216 pushmower cracked on both sides clean through just above the bracket that bolts to the mower deck.

Any one had that happen before and would getting the cracks welded do the trick or would the handle just crack above the weld later?

Maybe it time for a new pushmower?

    Regards,

    Bill

Have a lot of trouble with customers cheapo mowers like that. I take a piece of 1/8" by 3/4" strap, weld along the handle on outside up past the break and drill new hole in strap to line with old hole. Weld { I use 100 amp mig welder}on both sides of strap, haven't seen one back yet, maybe done 40 or 50 like that. Use a 20" length of steel every summer for past 4 years.:usflag:
