Hands down the 3 best trimmers are (IMO).

    In no particular order:
    Stihl fs 100rx
    Kawasaki KGT27A
    Redmax tr2300 ( for really light trimming)
    This is based on light maintenance trimming not heavy bush hogging.
    I've been trying out a lot of different brands now for about 2 years and these were my winners.

    mine are husky 323- redmax 2400 and cub cadet st35

    And that is your opinion. I like the Shindy T-231 for everyday trimming and the Stihl FS80R for heavier duty trimming. I have no need for a third pick.

    I'm happy w/ my Stihls, but still have a Redmax for a spare.

    Weedeater Featherlite (Very light weight)
    Homelite Trimlite (Most power in its class)
    Poulan Pro PP125 (6 tools in one!)

    I'm guessing that's a joke saw man. I've been happy with my Stihls but may try redmax soon.

    shin 230's are great, even with the brush blade....love em....
    like the stihl and the 21cc echo's

    but my fave is the shin....

    how long have you had the redmax 2300? ive been interested in that trimmer. i have lots of trimmers and my favorite so far is the kawi kgt27a. the 2300 is supposed to have less than 1hp:confused:

    is stihl better than redmax in your opinion? i've got redmax but thinking of phasing them out for something with a little more balls....
