IMHO splice boxes are de rigueur. I'm pleased with his attention to detail
Looks a bit much for my next SRC I'll install indoors.
Looks a bit much for any sprinkler system.
Can you make local and long distance phone calls from that telephone box?
Go to trouble shoot this bad boy or change anything in the wiring, I assure you, it's not "a bit much". I can open any controller, and know from just the attention paid to the wiring, how the rest of the system is built.
Change what in the wiring? Can't you hook up the zones correctly the first time around?
Yea the rest of the system is probably K-Rain and Buckner because all the money was spent on labor wiring the clock!
We have spare wire in all valve boxes, if a new zone is added, it's a
simple wiring change to get the system to a 'walk-thru" configuration.
Most of the time, we max -out the clocks in a few years, this one will
prolly go 48.
I once did low voltage wiring and that right there is a nice job.
If the others only knew how little work went into doing it right the first time.
We shop-build as much as we can...took Hank 2.0 hrs. (With phone & beer
breaks, I bet.)
