well guys i have checked the tires and hubs and both seem to be doing well. i have a vubration only over 70 mph and it is not engine rpm related. i can feel it all over the truck but i can hold onto the 4x4 shifter lever and feel it in there. i have a 99 f 250 psd 4x4. i have heard everything from universals going out, to a bent driveshaft. where do i start looking and what do you guys think it might be. thanks in advance. scapes

you need to get your tires BALANCED. i'm no expert but i'm about 90% sure this is your problem. it could be due to old tires/sat too long. or just every day use.

I recall a TSB for vibrations in Ford trucks.. seems like it had to do with the slip yoke on the driveshaft. Check with your Ford dealer to see if any TSB's apply to your truck.

Does this truck have a lift on it? If you lifted the truck(or prior owner did) the carrier bearing may need to be shimmed.... Its like 50 dollars and a DIY... Or you may just need to get your driveline balanced....
