    Hello all,

I do a lot more lurking and reading than posting here. I have an older Exmark Viking hydro with a little over a hundred hours on it. I recently replaced the carburetor on the machine as the float needle and seat would not seal while the mower was shut off. The mower is very hard to start unless you give it a shot of starting fluid then it fires right up. The choke seems to be closing completely and the plug and filter are fairly new. Even after the mower is warm it is still hard to start. It runs great and has plenty of power once you get it going. Any impute would be very much appreciated!!

ONE new spark plug is pretty cheap and can sometimes make a world of difference.

Once you flood a plug ITS useless and starting fluid over and over will kill a plug!

Thanks for the impute. I'll grab a new plug and try that first. I didn't realize that repetitive use of starting fluid would kill a plug, but it will start. Thanks again for the impute.
