hard to start 23 kaw. have a clue?

    i have a 23 hp kawasaki it started with turning the key forever or many times, finally it just wouldnt start , i changed the plugs fuel oil filters and changed the oil
    it got down in the 30's and 40's for a few nights before it stopped starting
    any ideas

    Disconnect choke cable, hold or wire choke COMPLETELY shut by hand. If you have spark and fuel, and plugs are'nt fouled, it will start. Common problem on Kawasaki's where choke cable or rod stretches and comes out of adjustment. There is a screw on back of linkage you can thread in to push choke rod up.

    yeah i checked that and choke is good, took it to the shop hopefully here something monday, let ya know what they say

    Valve adjustment and or new starter. I've had to do both at different times and at the same time
