    Did this guys back yard over with sod. I asked about the patio and he bragged he paid $7/SF and seemed ok with it being a POS. completed last year. I could write a tutorial just on this one job but I took pics of the most glaring stuff

    oh lets just save some money by putting a skim coat over the blocks so we don't have to buy and cut any caps!

    Don't think I have seen that before. I would compare that to a plumber who slopes the drain pipes in the wrong direction.

    I like the use of one sided corner blocks on the end of the wall. "Split face? Thats rich boy talk. Just scratch it up with the grinder and no one will know". Gets to the next side "screw it"
