hardy palm trees?

    I live in Western KY and there is a guy around here i saw that had 2 palm trees out all winter. i didnt know there was such thing as a palm tree that would survive through the winter that we have. my parents have small palms but they take them inside during the winter. any info on this would be great cause i would love to have a few!

    Pindo ("Jelly) palms and Windmill palms should do fine where you are. Also, you may want to check into Sabal Palmettos ("Sabal" or "Cabbage" palm).

    Depending on the amount you want to order, I'm sure that you can get a 48' or 52' reefer truck out of Florida to deliver (only catch is that you're gonna have to fill up the whole truck).
