This is an item for auction on eBay.com. It is a "manual" for starting and running a Lawn Service. It gives you ten reasons why to order the manual. I copied and pasted the "10 Reasons To Order Our Manual..." I just love #4, #5 (No, every customer is your boss.), #8 (I eat free all of the time! How about you?)

10 Reasons To Order Our Manual & Start Your Own Highly Profitable

    Lawn Care & Maintenance Business

    1) By reading this far you must be interested, and this may be the kick start you need to take the first step and stop thinking about starting your own business and start doing!!!!

    2) Guaranteed work! No matter what the economy is like you will still have your work. The risk of being fired or laid off is gone. Your money will always be there.
    3) Easy work! Lawn care is EASY. Anyone from 14 to 80 can do it. In the manual, we show you all the "tricks of the trade"

    4) Work when you want. If you want to take a week off, take a week off. Build your business and work your business according to what you want and are happy with.
    5) No Boss. Never again have a boss looking over your shoulder. You will work for YOU now. The freedom of this is fantastic.
    6) Good money! $35 to $75 an hour can make you have a very comfortable life. These are actual figures! People that work for lawn care companies make at least $12 an hour. But again, you'll be the owner of the company.
    7) Unlimited growth potential. Build your company to as big as you can handle it! Make your goal to work part time or to have 5 crews working for you. It’s all up to you!
    8) Never pay full price again. Once you acquire your new jobs, you'll make friends in every type of business. You will always get discounts on things like food, haircuts, eyewear, clothing, and almost anything out there. My partner and I eat free half the work week & you will too.
    9) Never boring. Unlike most jobs that are repetitive and dull. With lawn care you are always out and about with new jobs to do, new people to meet and new things to see.
    10) Prestige. You will be a business owner. No longer are you an employee. Never again will you have to look through those "help wanted ads" or be laid off. You can be proud to wear your business shirts and give them to family and friends. This feels great.

I was wondering if anyone else had seen, heard or ordered this "manual"? Ebay "manual" for sale...

    What a load of horse----.

    1) By reading this far you must be interested, and this may be the kick start you need to take the first step and stop thinking about starting your own business and start doing!!!!

No, we just wanted to see what a dumba-- like you would say.

    2) Guaranteed work! No matter what the economy is like you will still have your work. The risk of being fired or laid off is gone. Your money will always be there.

Where the f--- does THIS guy live?

    3) Easy work! Lawn care is EASY. Anyone from 14 to 80 can do it. In the manual, we show you all the "tricks of the trade"

Easy? Hell, I climb trees all freaking day, and even *I* think lawn guys have it tougher...

    4) Work when you want. If you want to take a week off, take a week off. Build your business and work your business according to what you want and are happy with.

What about working when the CUSTOMER wants? Isn't that why it's a SERVICE industry?

    5) No Boss. Never again have a boss looking over your shoulder. You will work for YOU now. The freedom of this is fantastic.

Same as #4... If you're the boss, does that mean you tell the customer what to do?

    6) Good money! $35 to $75 an hour can make you have a very comfortable life. These are actual figures! People that work for lawn care companies make at least $12 an hour. But again, you'll be the owner of the company.

    Not treating customers like that!

    7) Unlimited growth potential. Build your company to as big as you can handle it! Make your goal to work part time or to have 5 crews working for you. It’s all up to you!

Or, you could go collect welfare after you lose your shirt 'cuz you lost all yer customers...

    8) Never pay full price again. Once you acquire your new jobs, you'll make friends in every type of business. You will always get discounts on things like food, haircuts, eyewear, clothing, and almost anything out there. My partner and I eat free half the work week & you will too.

    He must have Kevlar knee-pads....

    9 & 10 don't deserve a response.

    Sorry guys, I couldn't resist...

There all pretty funny. Guaranteed work, easy work, work when you want, no bosses. That would be the dream job! I either work or don't eat, like the good ole days. Bosses?? Your not your own boss, if you have 50 accounts, you have 50 bosses. This manual sounds like it is well worth the paper it is written on.

I want to run my business like that, it would be great to wake up and decide I think I'll take the next week off, who cares about the customer.

Ahhhh, Entrepreneurial Utopia! Where we can bask in the sun, watch the grass grow, and know that my flawless workforce of underpaid, but appreciative and hard working, laborers will take care of it.

    It's sooooooo easy!

Well, after all, isn't that what we are all striving for?:D
