hauling skid steer on flatdeck

    Is a flatdeck sutible to transport a skid steer i have some loading ramps i know this is common in callifornia for backhoes

    We do it all the time. Its a lot easier than driving with a trailer in tight areas.

    I suppose if your truck is rated for it, why not? I occasionally haul skid steers and mini excavators at work on a boom truck, but we load them with a crane. One thing to remember when hauling equipment on a truck is that they typically ride higher than most trailers so check height restrictions where you're headed. My deck height is around 4.5 feet and I'm pushing almost 13 feet with a Cat 304 which is fine for going down the freeway but some residential neighborhoods, you might not see that kind of clearance.

    what is this truck for cant imagine loading a skid on the back of a gmc 3500 kinda overloaded
