What do you all use to protect yourselves while out in the hot sun. I recently bought a few of these cooling towel hats. Add ice to the zipper or dump them in a cold ice chest and it really does help keep you and your head cool.

Straw hat - cowboy style, but I only buy the ones that have larger holes about midway up, lets the air through better. Best place Ive found to get, which I found by accident, was Loves gas station. About $8 each, I usually buy a handful each year.

Nothing for sun protection (except sunscreen, sometimes). But I always where ear protection (slim fit shooting range ear muffs off of amazon.com for $30), North safety equipment safety glasses, and my earbuds. When it gets really hot in the summer, I have to take those three things off, dry off the ear muffs, and let the breeze cool my head off. It sure is comfortable from an audible standpoint though.
