heading bobcatrons way?

    Saw these beauties heading up I-40 (the factory is somewhere in NC's eastern region) I figured Ron must have put in a order.

    I never had much of a disliking to the ASV undercarriages, but I think I like the suspended version better just for the durability. Definately will be a rougher ride, that's for sure.

    I would really like to know why Cat didn't put oscillating roller pairs like they do on D8 undercarriges. Seems to me that adds the best of both worlds. A little "give" to the carriage, keeps the track on the ground more when in rough ground, and is still durable.

    Yup, at least one of them is mine. :laugh:

    I'll take that 279 as soon as Cat comes out with the narrow track version.

    I am with Ron, not until they have a narrow track version though...
