Glad I was paying attention.... I pulled my RedMax trimmer to use and noticed this Honey-Goo stuff on it when I was starting it. I saw it on top of the engine when looking through the slots in the engine cover. I made a mental note that I needed to investigate that. Well, the way redmax trimmers are made, you have to deal with the plugwire before you remove the engine cover. So I did. After looking down in there, I decided to check the spark plug. I could turn it with my fingers. So the goo was from stuff making it's way out around the spark plug threads. I've never messed with the plug on it to date, so I don't know the "how" in how it got so loose. If it was just not installed tight enough at the factory, or if it vibed loose. So this is just a heads up to make you look through the slots in the engine cover in the morning to see if you see anything. If so, check that plug.
