$740, family of four. right now i'm paying $890
Bobby thats per month, Right?
I don't have experience with Guardian, but with Aetna, I pay $589 per month, family of 5.
Is it PHS/Guardian/Healthnet.......I used to have Guardian, but there was some sort of merger with Helthnet and PHS.
I'm covered by my wifes insurance, A piece of advice when buying insurance, Research the company good. I went through several in the past. They like to offer a fare price the first year, then stick it to you with a nice hike in premiums. The bad thing about switching insurance is, if you have any pre-existing conditions, you won't be covered by the new insurance. With so many people on some type of medication these days. You really need to make sure you are going to stick it out with the insurance company and not join just for the price.
The main reason my wife works is for the insurance benefits. She only makes about $11 an hour, but she works for blue cross blue shield which gives their employess great benefits. We have 2 kids and the money saved in insurance is to much for her not to work.
yes per month. aetna quoted me $1250
How are you guys getting it so cheap? I currently have horizon BC/BS POS and am paying $880 per month for my daughter, wife and me. I would love to know how to cut this down.
Make your wife go to work full time and then use her insurance. Ha Ha.
My wife has good insurance and I am sole opperator so I use her insurance. I think for the 4 of us it is around 225 with dental and eye included.
Other than that there is no way in heck I could afford those types of coverages.
Or the copay would be out of this world.
