hey I had a big problem with insurance....I went thru Blue Cross and the just busted my balls left and right. If you want group insurace (MUCH MUCH CHEAPER) you need an EIN, and there w-2 forms. I have my w-2 and my employee is 10-99 and they wont accept that. JUst call them direct....Blue Cross Blue Sheild, or oxford. You dont need an agent it can be done direct

Assurant offers a reasonable HSA that has a high deductable, but the premiums are liveable.

check out www.zanderins.com they are based in Nashville but they will quote you several different insurers..Blue Cross UHC to name a couple...and the HSA IS the way to go..yeah the deductibles are higher usually around 4-5k but the premiums are NOTHING and you get to save money to pay your deducitble pre tax meaning you never pay tax on money used for health care. the plan that I am in through my employer lets me invest the money i contribute to my HSA with a GAURUNTEED return of no less than 4% and I get to pick the investments!!

Prices are all across the board, depending on your age, health and the amount of employees you have on the plan. I have guys that are $180 per month and I have guys that are pushing $400 per month.
