I'm doing some comparison shopping for health insurance this year, I currently have NASE. Its a good program, but there's always room for improvement. I have never needed them in all my 14 years with them so I really don't know how good they are. I know everybody's situation is different. heres their site www.nase.org

Check out the Health savings account. We just started one and it seems like a really good plan.

There is not a ton of info online cause they were new in 2004 but do a search and you will find some info.

Blue Cross here. We looked at NASE and actually had it for a year until we realized that it had to many holes in it. Now we have BCBS for just a bit more a year and a whole lot better coverage.

    :)
What I'm wondering is how you can go 14 years and not need to use your health insurance? Have you been in a coma? :)

I am starting in business this year and need some help with Ins. also.

I have no issues getting insurance for myself because I have no preexisting conditions. My daughter and wife are both over weight due to some health issues and my daughter has kidney problems requireing a specialist. I have been quoted as high as 2000.00 per month with clauses for prexisting. I cannot go with business ins because they require 10 employees for that.

I am seriously considering taking a night job just for the ins.

Anyone know of a way or a company that will provide reasonable ins rates??

    TIA
    jim
