I need some hearing protection while mowing. Who makes the best ear muffs with a radio out there?
Nobody. Get the Deere Active noise cancelling and get something to feed into it.. Ipod etc..
i don't like muffs because they are hot in the summer, but I use sony ear buds hooked to my radio or ipod. i can listen to my AM talk, or various podcasts.
the ear buds are like ear plugs, so it blocks out noise at the same time as playing music.
there are things called "work tunes" I think. google that and you'll find the radio earmuffs.
I have used pelters for years and love them.
This is also available at the depot.
I just bought 2 pair of radio muffs at Lowes for next year's mowing season.........The radio is digital.
The only thing that was missing from mine.
I will be stopping by Lowes today to pick up my stocking stuffer.
Depending on how much you want to spend I would get these.http://www.usa.husqvarna.com/landscaper_clothes_tools_and_accessories_details.aspx?pid=8799
