Anybody ever figure a way to get the heat shield on with the hitch? They make a cut out, but the way I figure it nobody has ever accomplished this feat!

I have never personally installed one on a Mini, but I Am sure it can be done,we wouldn't offer it if it did not work.
    What is the problem? alignment?

Your right, it can be done, but I found it to be petty difficult. You have to take the hitch off, and slide the shield on, and kind of get the hitch in place to get a bolt in while working behind the shield. I am sure it would have been easier with another arm, and doing it on a rack. So it is not impossible, just very challengeing.

    Thanks

I understand what you are saying, the rear end of all our units are so low to the ground, it is kinda hard to get under it.
A floor jack comes in handy there.
