    Hi Guys,

My lawn got off to great start this year! The overseeding I did in September looks good. Its about time to do a follow up application of fertilizer and I have a question about heavy rain. About 2 weeks after I overseeded, my area got heavy rain associated with tropical weather. At the time, my soil had recently had 18-24-12 25%PPSC applied to it. (1lbN per 1000). We got around 6 inches of rain in a 3 day span of time. What effect does this have on the fertilizer? Since it was 75% fast release, does all the extra rain cause leaching out? Is there less viable product still left in the soil?

I'm wondering if I need to apply more product now to compensate for fert loss due to leaching?

    Advice?
