    hey guys-

im having trouble choosing between the stihl hs45 24', the redmax cht220 and the echo hc-150. my only concern about the stihl is that it only holds 7.8 oz of fuel. im leaning toward the redmax. tell me what you guys think of these machines.

    thanks for the help

redmax is by far the best of the 3

I have the Echo HC150. Works good for what I do, maybe 10 total hours a month, give or take.

I would have to agree with the Stihl. I have the same one, 30 minutes max on the clippers then I have to refuel. Other than that clippers are great.

The Echo unit is a solid machine and pretty light. I don't know if the other units are straight 2 stroke but that woudl be a factor for me. Take alook at the ECho SHC model they are a lot more flexible if you are doing a lot of bush work. We have two of those and stopped getting the HC150.

I like my redmax. Run them everyday for a couple of hours for the past 8 months, and have had no problems.
