Looking to get a hedge trimmer attachment with a power head to avoid having to get out a ladder for the hard to reach areas. Echo 266 powerhead and 20" hedge trimmer attachment is $570 with tax. Is there any cheaper hedge trimming pole setups? Just looking for enough power from a power head to run the hedge trimming attachment and a string trimmer attachment. Any other commercial grade brands out there for cheaper? Easy-lift guy im sure you have some experience with these? :waving:

I just bought the 0 to 135 degree Kombi attachment for $250, left the half shaft in the box and attached it in place of the trimmer head on my Stihl trimmer. Was also told it would fit on the end of my pole saw if I needed more reach. The fixed hedge trimmer Kombi attachment was $180. I have used it several times this week and really like it.

The adjustable angle Kombi trimmer head is much more useful than the fixed head.

Retail on a KM110R powerhead, straight shaft string trimmer attachment, and adjustable angle hedge trimmer adds up to around $700. $570 if you get the KM55R "homeowner" powerhead, which has PLENTY of power to run the hedge trimmer, but may fall short with other attachments.

Did you count the cost of the straight shaft trimmer attachment in your price from Echo?

Add another $130 if you want the carbon fiber extension pole for more reach (you wouldn't believe what you can reach with the hedge trimmer and that).

I have a Ryobi hedge trimmer attachment for a power head. It works quite well granted I don't use it everyday, but for once in a while trimming it works and is very cheap. I picked up a factory blemished powerhead, trimmer, edger and hedge trimmer for about 180.
