Hi folks! I am Shawn B. and currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I do not own nor run my own business. I do however currently work for Healthy Lawns and Shrubs Inc. located within Little Rock. The company I currently work for have been in business since 1978, i have worked there since 2002. I have been mainly learning lawn maintenance and chemical, not to much landscaping beyond planting some annuals and maybe some sod and mulch, but nothing like sprinklers, lights, dry stack walls and beds, water features etc.

Currently we use snapper and honda push mowers - which really seem to have worked for us nicely for around 15 years. I especially like the honda mower for hilly turfs as its self propel will pull you up a hill with no problems, where the snappers drive train all leans to one wheel, not a problem on relatively flat turf, but not so great for hills. With the Honda, it drives using both wheels and has a 4 edge cutting system on the blade, great mower.

For riding mowers - we use walker mowers, which seem pretty nice, although i do still like a push mower better, but sometimes its just impractical for bigger lawns.

We also use snapper walk behind mowers - 36 and 48 inch deck models for more of the field mowing we do - rougher terrain - these mowers seem to handle it well.

For blowers, we use shindaiwa backpack blowers, really seem to have alot of power and good on fuel. We also use shindaiwa weedeaters - T270's - those things are legendary and never seem to die very easily. And as well - we use an assortment of shindaiwa hedge sheers for pruning shrubs. The list of course can go on and on, but that's our main core equipment we use.

So i look forward to reading posts from you lawn care gurus, and thanks for sharing the knowledge! :weightlifter:
