We have a '04 John Deere walk behind 48". The bottom seal on the hydro pump has been leaking over the winter. Pump is a Tuff Torq 10C000207. Anybody know if it is serviceable from the outside, or is it one of these deals that when the seal leaks, there are other internal problems? When we drained the hydro fluid, we did notice some very fine particles of metal in the oil. Is there any place where you can get exchange rebuilds on these pumps? Also, one of the wheel motors is leaking. Is there something that normally goes bad on these to cause it to leak?
Any info would be of help. Thanks
