Here is a walk around video of it http://www.fargosnow.com/MyImages/trim.LFkxIa.MOV

    And here is a picture

I am having a hard time identifying this light. I need to find a replacement for it that hopefully is exact. I've looked it over and don't see a model # or brand name on it. Unfortunately the original installer doesn't have any idea either.

Any suggestions on where I might find one of these? Or who might make it?

    Thanks!

I tried to match an old light fixture and was told by a lighting design showroom that manufacturers change their products regularly. They advise buying extras with the original purchase because they are hard to match. I finally ended up buying new lights. Good luck in your search.

I'd suggest doing some Google image searches... I tried a few.. black round glass lantern.. etc.. see if you can find it. ALso, if you see similar stuff, see who makes it and then check their product line.

A side note... I HOPE whoevers lanterns they are... are gently told to loose the inappropriate and unattractive compact fluorescent lamps and instead install clear decorative lamps.

I have no clue who makes that but I will offer this advice: Do your client's and the whole community a big favour and remove those fixtures from the face of the earth.

Three medium base sockets inside a big glass bowl = Glare Bomb Supreme. Good lighting is about visual comfort. Nothing you do to that fixture will make it appealing or visually comfortable.

Did you clip it with the shute of the Normand or just the force of the snow blowing on it?

Oh, I don't know; A very LARGE dimmer would work too.

No, you can do something about it, you can talk to the client and tell them you cannot find a replacement so you will happily replace both for them. Then call a local lighting guy to provide some nice, effective, glare free fixtures. The whole community will be thankful.

Look for fixtures that are approved by the IDA as being Dark Sky Friendly.

Sorry I also can't do that. There are 3 more on the house. I'm not replacing all 5 for one.
