Have been seeing this grass in more and more yards. I know its not crabgrass, or quack grass. It grows in clumps and is a very stiff grass, wide blades, dark green.

Pre-m does not help control it. I also thought it might be tall fescue invading the mostly Kentucky and Rye yards. Q4 does nothing, Speed zone does nothing and a 200.00 bottle of Certainty did nothing.

I always have a hard time identifying grass type weeds.
    Thanks guys,

It just looks like K-31 in your dwarf variety TTTF lawn. But what do I know? I'm a warm season turf guy

Should have read the first post closer. You care for primarily KBG and Rye. My vote is K-31 TF.

K 31 is great for dog fenced in areas looks like crap but handles the urine and tracking well but you will pull some unwanted weeds from the seed

def clump of fescue. shame you didn't ask what it was before you sprayed everything in the arsenal - non of which would have killed it.
