The price is good, especially for including a trailer, depending on what the trailer is. He might not take $4500 for that thing. It's got fewer hours than a dealer demo. Do you think you could sell the trailer?

Keep in mine, This mower If I am right does not have the suspension on the back. And does not ride anywhere as good as the 2000's or above.
But I do know my uncle bought one like that back in the spring. And his was a little higher then that without a trailer.
But then again the guy needs to know the unit is used. Even if its under 4 hours. You still drop $$$ as soon as you sign. And I would cut some off the $6000 he is asking. Figure what you can get the trailer for. Then knock off for the unit being used.

The 1500 does have rear suspension. The front is not exactly independent suspension--it pivots. That mower should sell for $6000-6500 brand new, so if the trailer is worth maybe $1000 (not knowing what kind of trailer it is), then he's taking $1000-1500 hit off of purchase price.

I got a 1500 with 52" deck and 25 HP kawasaki with a pivot trailer (6x8) for $6000 and it had only 30 hours on it. I would go brand new at the cost you are paying. You might as well get the warranty with it.

They have a nice website. I know dealers can get a quantity discount, so maybe he's passing on those savings. And it was $5800 when I just looked. When I figured my local sales tax on that, it's almost $6200.
