1.8 acre empty lot -- mow every other week. Flat, no slope.
How does 150 sound?
How fast can you cut it.with the right equipment that's fine
I'm not sure how fast I can cut it -- I plan to use a 48 ferris walker and sulky on it.
I am afraid that it will grow fast in two weeks and I'll have to go slow.
Appearance is not an issue - there is no trimming to be done.
If I could use something to slow the growth it would be okay.
They don't care - they just don't want it to look unkept, but they never go out there. It just gets mowed so the so it looks better for the neighbors.
Is there some way to slow the growth on an empty lot??
The chemical used is normally Maleic Hydrazide. It can sometimes turn
finer grasses (Bents and fescues) brown, but this dose disappear after
You can stunt the growth for up to 6 weeks at a time.
Nice -- thanks Joe. That might help in the spring to keep it manageable.
150 sounds high for an open lot.

Here, it would be really tough getting more than $100, but I don't know the market in your area.
Sounds high to me as well. That's a 30 min job. If you can get 60-70 you'd be good to go.
I'd be around 90 for every week being every other week i would be somewhere around 130
I'd be in the same price range.
